How it works
Infini Combines RF & Microneedling for Optimal Results
Infini combines fractional RF technology with micro-needling. Medical micro-needling involves micro-pricking your skin with tiny sterilized needles to induce skin resurfacing and collagen production in the treated area. Unlike other radiofrequency platforms that treat the skin from the outside in, Infini uses flow needle technology to deliver RF where it needs to be – the dermis.
The dermis, your second layer of skin, contains collagen, your skin’s supporting structure. By delivering heat energy from RF to the dermis, Infini encourages collagen growth and tissue tightening precisely at predetermined skin depths. This non-invasive treatment is little to no downtime and a nearly painless procedure that can significantly reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, and skin laxity.
The treatment experience
Planning Your Infini Laser Treatment
Your experience begins with a consultation with one of our expert staff to discuss your areas of concern. That could be wrinkles and fine lines, skin laxity, acne and surgical scars, skin texture, tone, and tightening, or reducing the signs of aging. The number of sessions required depends on the health of the skin and your desired goals and expectations. We’ll go through your treatment plan with procedure details, including topical freezing to minimize pain and provide comfort, time of treatment, downtime, and post-treatment care.
What to Expect with your Infini Treatment
Before the Treatment
One week before your treatment, avoid using skincare products with retinol, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid and taking anti-inflammatory medications, such as aspirin or Advil. Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment.
During the Treatment
A topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area to minimize discomfort. The technician will test a small patch to assess your comfort level. A mild sensation is experienced during the treatment, which subsides immediately post-treatment.
After the Treatment
Your skin will feel warm and slightly swollen for about 24 hours. You may resume normal activity, including work and physical activities, soon after treatment. Applying medical-grade moisturizers and serums will enhance healing. Makeup can be used after 24 hours.

How Much is Infini RF Microneedling?
The cost of an Infini RF Microneedling treatment starts at $700 – the price depends on the size of the treatment area. To ensure our treatments are as affordable as possible, we offer treatment packages, which maximize savings as treatment areas and sessions are purchased collectively.
You should not have an Infini treatment if you:
- Have a pacemaker.
- Have metal implants in an area of the face.
- Are on blood thinners; you can be treated but COULD potentially bruise.
- Are pregnant and breastfeeding.
- Have severely sun-damaged skin, as you may respond less than a person with healthy skin.
Very few patients would be excluded from having this treatment. As long as you don’t have the conditions listed as a contraindication, you are a candidate for Infini RF Microneedling.
Yes. Infini is safe for all skin types including Fitzpatrick 4 and 5. Its needles are insulated and it is protective of the epidermis, where the pigment cells are.
Also, the depth can be adjusted so the heat from the RF stays in the dermis, below the most superficial layer. Other devices are either not insulated, or try to push heat through the skin, potentially damaging the pigment cells.
With an experienced laser technician, the face treatment takes about 45 minutes, and if the neck is included, add another 15 minutes.
Results are different for each patient. You will begin to see changes in 1– 3 months and full results in 6–12 months. The collagen created will last at least 7 years. However, the amount of collagen is variable, and depends on your overall skin health, your health, smoking habits, age, tanning habits, sun exposure, and lifestyle.
We typically recommend having a “touch up” performed every 12–18 months. Overall, it’s important to maintain a healthy lifestyle and consistent skin regime to maximize outcomes for many years.
Only the prescribed skincare creams by Anti-Aging Vancouver should be used. Generally, we’ll recommend a mild cleanser and a simple hydrating moisturizer for the 5– 7 days following your treatment.
Makeup can be applied 24 hours post-treatment and take care when touching your skin–use clean hands or towels. There are no activities or sun restrictions; however, you should apply sunscreen daily.
It is not recommended to use either ice or steroid creams after your Infini treatment. Similar to the Thermage, the results are dependent on inflammation, and “heat shock proteins,” both of which are inhibited with ice and steroids or anti-inflammatory medications, such as Ibuprofen. Your laser technician will go over post-procedure skin care with you.
Your comfort and care are our primary concerns. Some individuals describe a stinging sensation that quickly subsides. We apply a topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort during the procedure.
Most patients rate the discomfort of the Infini procedure a 3 or 4/10. The areas, which may be higher are over the bone, such as the forehead, cheeks, and jawline. The forehead can be excluded, if desired. All patients report no discomfort when the Infini procedure is complete.
The Infini treatment can be used on all areas of the body. The most common areas are the neck, chest, arms, knees, and stomach.
The number of Infini treatments needed varies with each patient depending on the concern being treated. To get the maximum benefit, a series of 3 treatments is recommended. Some people might be happy with only one, but that is uncommon.
Younger patients wanting only preventative treatments can get one annually. Acne scarring clients should consider at least 3, but may be more satisfied with 5 or 6. Consecutive treatments can be done as close as 3 or 4 weeks. If this is not possible because of your schedule, don’t worry, the final results are not affected.
The initial redness subsides rapidly in the first hour. It takes about 24–36 hours to resolve, as does the swelling. Rarely, patients report extended redness.
