Reducing stubborn thigh fat
Shaping, toning and strengthening your muscles can feel good and be good for your health. However, sometimes despite all our diet changes and exercise, we still have stubborn patches of fat that just won’t budge.
There are two different kinds of thigh fat: subcutaneous fat which is located just below the skin and intramuscular fat which is located within the muscle (think marbling in beef). Exercise and diet change can help reduce intramuscular fat but has little effect on subcutaneous fat. It can be extremely difficult to exercise in order to lose fat in one particular area. Our body, with the help of genetics, decides where fat gets placed and where it comes off first.
