Overview
Improving erectile dysfunction
The elephant in the bedroom – erectile dysfunction, otherwise known as ED. Suddenly not being able to get an erection, maintain an erection or ejaculate regularly are all symptoms of erectile dysfunction. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms it can be alarming and troublesome, oftentimes it can negatively impact other areas of your life and relationships and cause a myriad of issues in itself. If left untreated it can cause serious self-esteem issues, relationship troubles and depression to name a few.
ED can be a result of many factors such as aging, relationship issues, excessive weight, alcohol use, tobacco use, substance use, depression, diseases, stress, fatigue, and sleep disorders. This is not an exhaustive list, but if the issue is not resolved by making some lifestyle changes or finding a pattern in when and why it happens, it would be best to see a doctor
WHAT CAN BE DONE?
How we can help with erectile dysfunction
While it is a difficult topic for many men to discuss, ED isn’t uncommon. In fact, it’s the most common sexual problem for men. It is estimated that nearly 50% of Canadian men over the age of 40 suffer from some level of erectile dysfunction. Making lifestyle changes can help improve ED, but there are some factors you’ll have to talk to a doctor about. A medical examination with a qualified professional can help you identify why you may be experiencing the condition, answer any questions you may have, and provide you with a personalized treatment plan.

PRP therapy is a form of regenerative medicine, which takes advantage of the blood’s natural properties. The procedure involves extracting and isolating platelets and plasma from a drawing of your own blood, which we then concentrate into a healing solution. These platelets release growth factors which rejuvenate tissue, improve blood flow and promote healing.
